- Elverson EMS is hosting a CPR pro class at the Twin Valley Fire Dept on Saturday April the 27th at 8:00 A.M. The class is free to those who participate. Class size is limited to the first 30 students. Passing of Life Member, Robert Hopkins
NOVEMBER 08
- Robert A. "Bob" Hopkins, 80, of Elverson passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center. Robert was born on March 14, 1932, in Derry, Pa. He was the son of the late Milton and Abigale (Donovan) Hopkins. Robert was the husband of Shirley E. (Lyons) Hopkins, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. Three Alarm Building Fire at the Morgan Corporation

- At 3:50PM on Thursday, August 30, Ambulance 89-2 was dispatched as part of the first alarm assignment to a working building fire at the Morgan Corporation on Morgan Way in Morgantown. Units arrived on the scene with a well involved commercial building. A second alarm was struck, and eventually a third alarm.
